How to get there:
Fly or navigate to the city of Puerto Montt, once there a lodge
vehicle will pick you up and drive you to the lodge. The drive
will take approximately 1 hour and twenty minutes. If you are
driving; go to the town of Puerto Varas and continue around
the South eastern shore of lake Llanquihue to the village of Ensenada
(30 miles ) , from there continue to the Petrohue falls
( 5 miles ), drive for 50 more yards and turn left.
General description
of the Lodge:
The lodge is a charming old colonial farmhouse, with five bright
country-style rooms all with private bathrooms accommodating a
maximum of 10 guests. The lodge has a large living room connected
to a fly tying room, separate dinnning room and a charming and
inviting kitchen. Anglers come from tyhe river in to the comfortable
mud room. Fundo El Salto is renowned
for exquisite food, select chilean wines and attentive service.
Programs include:
- 4 or 6 nights lodging in double rooms with private bathroom.
